While there may not be much you can do about the risk of nuclear warfare or a biological outbreak on a nationwide scale, you always have the chance to execute a high-intensity escape at EscapeWorks Denver. Each of the themed rooms at EscapeWorks offers you and up to 11 of your closest friends the opportunity to solve puzzles, track down clues, and secure your escape within 60 minutes.
EscapeWorks recently added a new room—War Games—that provides an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride through the process of nuclear disarmament. Read on to learn more about the new War Games room, as well as what you can expect from some of the other themed escape room adventures offered by EscapeWorks Denver.
War Games
In this room, you and your companions will be tasked with the nerve-wracking job of infiltrating an enemy bunker and disarming a nuclear missile triggered by a rogue agent, all within the 60-minute countdown clock.
With no access to cell phones or other internet-connective devices, you and your friends will need to rely on only your wits and your collective knowledge to secure your escape. Does your team have what it takes to prevent World War III?
Egyptian Tomb
In this room, you and your teammates play the role of expert archaeologists who have been sent to solve a mystery — what happened to the last archaeologist to enter this abandoned Egyptian tomb nearly a century ago? When you and your friends become trapped, you’ll need to retrace his steps to ensure you don’t meet the same fate, and you may stumble across some history-changing discoveries in the process.
Casino Heist
You and your teammates have been immersed in planning the casino heist of the century—but when your criminal mastermind goes rogue, selling your plan out to the police while secretly planning to pull off this heist solo, you’ll need to take quick action to avoid detection.
You and your co-conspirators need to get into the casino, access the vault, and escape without detection within 60 minutes or you’ll likely be spending a lengthy vacation in prison while your mastermind continues to elude prosecution.
Beyond The Flower Shop
Nearly a century ago, during the height of Prohibition, mobsters ran the towns. With bribes flowing faster than the streams of illegal beer and liquor, who can you trust? You and your friends will find yourselves uncovering a series of dark mysteries, all starting with an innocuous flower shop.
Outbreak
When pandemic panic spreads across the globe, it’s up to you and your friends—all of whom have made it into the CDC’s sealed research lab—to finish near-completed vaccination research, inoculate yourself against illness, and escape before the air runs out.
Whether you’re planning a bachelor(ette) party, a team-building event for work, or just want a fun-filled way to spend an early summer afternoon, EscapeWorks Denver has you covered. Visit our website today to book your next escape room adventure.
Definitely worth the money! Smaller escape room business in the area but you would not know with the level of detail they put in the rooms. My friend and I did the Vampire Hunter and when our time was up we were on the last puzzle. Instead of kicking us out, she helped us solve it, and I appreciated that so much. Thank you Gabby!

We tried two adventures at their different locations. Our first was the Vampire Hunter room. We had SUCH a blast! The puzzles were just challenging enough to get our brains really going but not so hard as to frustrate us. Our GM Xander did a great job of only giving us clues when we really needed clarification to make the game more fun. We had a really fun time using teamwork and a crossbow to shoot our way to success!
Our second adventure was Blackbeard's Brig. We loved the nods to classic pirate tropes like getting brig keys from a dog and had a great time working together to find our missing crew members. Sean did a great job as a GM stepping in only when we really needed him. If we all lived locally, we'd be going back to do all the adventures!

I brought my brothers family from out of town, to Escape Works and we all had a great time. Xander was incredibly helpful throughout the experience. Even though we chose the hardest room, he was very attentive and gave us assistance whenever we were struggling.
Overall, it was an amazing experience and a lot of fun for everyone. I would definitely recommend it 100%!
